Mandatory Advising
Advising appointments are required during students' first semester in the major and each semester after the student has earned 85 credits. Failure to meet with an advisor will result in a registration block preventing you from registering for the following semester until you have met with an SDSC academic advisor.
- During the first semester appointment students will work with an advisor on a four-year plan and review SDSC policies.
- Upperclassman advising is mandatory to ensure students are on track to complete all prerequisites necessary to take the SDSC capstone.
