Advising

(Mandatory Advising) Advising appointments are required during students' first semester in the major and after 85 credits. Failure to meet with an advisor will result in a registration block preventing you from registering for the following semester until you have met with an SDSC academic advisor.
- During the first semester appointment students will work with an advisor on a four-year plan and review SDSC policies.
- Upperclassman advising is mandatory to ensure students complete all prerequisites necessary to take the SDSC capstone.
